Poor numeracy is widespread and the National Numeracy charity seeks to offer free support to help people overcome their fear of numbers.

Numeracy skills are essential for most jobs, but everybody needs them in their day-to-day lives too, for example with managing their money.

National Numeracy are offering free support with the National Numeracy Challenge, which is a free and easy-to-use website you can use to improve your confidence with numbers. You can use the Challenge on your phone, tablet or home-computer. Save your progress as you go - no timer means you can dip in and out in your own time.

The Challenge aims to help you get better at maths in the way that best suits you and can help you have the confidence to attend further education and get those essential qualifications.
