Are you struggling to manage your money? Do you need to improve your numeracy skills for work? Perhaps you struggle to help your children with their maths homework.
Maths skills are essential for daily life as well as for many jobs. If you didn't achieve a grade 4 maths GCSE or above, you can access numeracy education at asphaleia training through the Skills for Life Multiply program.
what is multiply 4 work?
Multiply offers easy access to free numeracy courses and initiatives that can help people brush up their maths skills and become more confident with numbers. Whether they need help in managing their bills, budgeting or they want to improve their potential at work.

Multiply 4 Work includes a selection of free 2hr workshops as well as a free 6-week numeracy course that will teach you to manage your personal finances and help you gain employability skills.

who is it for and where is it held?
programme content
Multiply at asphaleia training is for people aged 19-29, who do not already have a GCSE at grade 4 (or equivalent) in maths, and who reside in West Sussex.

Sessions will be delivered at our learning centre in Worthing town.
Multiply 4 Work includes:

Relevant numeracy skills for the sector you're interested in.

Numeracy skills related to employment, such as reading pay slips.
​

Personal employability skills.
​

How to manage personal finances, such as bills and other outgoings, credit cards and loans.
​

Next steps planning, 1:1 careers guidance and info/advice/support to prepare for progressing in your career.
The programme was an eye-opener! Interacting with professionals and understanding the real challenges they face made me rethink my career choices. I now have a clearer direction for my future.

You will create your own weekly or monthly personal budget and learn how to balance your income and outgoings.
