We're excited to be recruiting for two rewarding roles within our further education and training provision, supporting students aged 16-19 as they develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for their next steps in education and employment.


job vacancy; tutor


As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to young people from a range of backgrounds and abilities.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across agreed subject areas

  • Teaching Functional Skills and GCSE Maths and/or English

  • Supporting the development of digital skills, employability and personal/social development

  • Working with students who speak English as their first language, as well as those who speak English as a second language

  • Providing personal and pastoral support to help students overcome barriers and succeed

  • Tracking progress and helping students achieve positive outcomes and progression opportunities


This role is ideal for someone who is committed to high standards of teaching and learning and passionate about helping young people build the skills they need for the future.

We're also hiring an Inclusion Lead & Tutor who combines excellent teaching practice with a strong commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.


Alongside teaching Functional Skills and GCSE maths/English and pre-vocational qualifications, you will:


  • Champion a culture of inclusion across the training team

  • Coordinate support for students with SEND, additional needs and those who are disadvantaged

  • Develop, implement and review inclusive practices to improve engagement, progress and achievement

  • Ensure student support plans are effective and responsive to individual needs

  • Act as Designated Teacher for care-experienced students

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to secure the best outcomes for learners
