We are thrilled to share some fantastic news! Following our recent OFSTED inspection in May, we are proud to announce that we have received an outstanding rating. This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire fostering team, as well as the support of our wider team of staff across the organisation.

what being rated outstanding by ofsted means for our fostering agency

An outstanding rating is the highest accolade that OFSTED can award, and it signifies that we are providing an exceptional standard of care for children and young people in our fostering provision. Rated outstanding in all 3 areas, the report highlights our commitment to delivering outstanding experiences and progress of children and young people, taking into account:

  • How well children and young people are helped and protected

  • The effectiveness of leaders and managers

This rating means that asphaleia fostering provides highly effective services that consistently exceed the standards of good and the actions of our agency contribute to significantly improved outcomes and positive experiences for children and young people.

thank you!

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated foster carers, who consistently strive for high quality and child-centred care. They are outstanding carers and it was a delight to share their incredible impact with the inspectors. A special thank you also goes to our agency team and wider network of support for everything they do to help us deliver quality foster care.

looking ahead

Achieving an outstanding rating is a significant milestone, but it is also a reminder of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement. We will continue to build on our successes and strive to provide the best possible fostering experience for all our families and children.

We are also looking to grow our number of fostering families and so are open to applications from prospective carers. If you're interested in finding out more about fostering and our agency, please consider joining our next virtual information evening in September.
