We have been hearing in recent days how the pandemic is set to create an unprecedented rise in unemployment over the next few months. Many people may not be aware that fostering is a viable and secure career option or a way to supplement their income.
When we say secure, we mean that there are many, many placement requests that come in every day. Unless carers are quite specific in the placements they're willing to accept, it is unlikely that they would have long periods of time with no one placed with them.
