Following on from our Matrix Standard Assessment that took place on 13-14 May - we welcomed our Matrix Assessor to meet and talk with some of our staff, students and young people and some of our external professional colleagues. Along with other quality standards, we continually work towards the Matrix standard in our practice and also look forward to the opportunity to get feedback on developments we have worked on since our last assessment.

As a result of this assessment, we are delighted to have retained our Matrix standard and to have received such great feedback - here are a few snippets!

asphaleia maintains its good reputation for the holistic nature of its provision, creating personal belonging and empowerment of disadvantaged young people.
The key-work provided in the Care accommodation is well structured and records show that much relevant advice and guidance is included in the regular meetings.
The staff involved embody the values of the organisation.

Retaining the Matrix standard demonstrates all our staff’s commitment to supporting asphaleia’s mission statement; to impact as many lives of children and young people who have experienced disadvantage as we can, and affirms all the positive work that takes place daily across our services.
