asphaleia awarded accreditation from commissioning alliance for care

Following a rigorous quality process, we are pleased to have gained our accreditation with the Commissioning Alliance Accreditation Scheme, with regards to our unregulated accommodation services for 16+ young people. The accreditation endorses the quality of our services, giving confidence to the local authorities contracting with us to provide unregulated accommodation for young people leaving care and those urgently requiring supported accommodation.

This comes at an exciting time, as we embark on a number of new local authority contracts and we are setting up new accommodation in Surrey and Crawley, alongside our existing properties in West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and London.

As part of the accreditation process, our Responsible Individual had to go through with the inspector our HR process in recruiting staff, our health and safety processes, and we had to demonstrate that we run safe, compliant properties with staff that will also be both safe and compliant. The Responsible Individual was also interviewed about our approach to managing safeguarding on a day-to-day basis. We look forward to showing the inspectors around our newly-acquired properties for their inspection visits.

asphaleia’s accommodation services are listed on the website CarePlace, which lists all the accredited providers and supports local authorities and other professional service providers to find safe and high quality accommodation for their clients.
