This festive season was full of warmth, laughter, and shared moments across all our accommodations. Every young person received a Christmas present bag, bringing a little extra joy to the end of the year.

Because each house has its own rhythm and routines, not all young people chose to take part or to celebrate in the same way. Activities were arranged around staff and young people’s availability, meaning some festivities took place before Christmas and New Year, ensuring everyone had the chance to join in when it suited them best.

In our staffed houses, Christmas Day was all about coming together. A group‑cooking Christmas meal was planned for the 25th, and earlier in December each house received a festive hamper to enjoy and share with visitors.

The Christmas meal itself was a real highlight. Every young person played a part—planning the menu, shopping for ingredients, and cooking, preferring dishes from their culture rather than a traditional British Christmas dinner. It was a hands‑on experience that brought everyone together in the best possible way.

New Year celebrations were just as lively in some of our properties. Staffed houses planned games and pizza nights, giving everyone a relaxed and fun way to welcome 2026.

In semi-independent accommodation, the celebrations included a shared box of chocolates and a New Year’s games and takeaway pizza night.
