voices 2024 creative writing competition for care experienced young people

The Voices 2024 creative writing competition for young people is now open for entries. The competition is run by Coram Voice and is an opportunity for care experienced young people aged 4-24 to enter a piece of creative writing, or art work for the cover of the official publication (a new element of the 2024 competition), to be in with a chance of winning a voucher and attending the awards ceremony in London.

The theme this year is ‘what makes me different?’ and your creative writing piece can be up to 500 words long. Your piece, which must be your own work and not mention other people by name, must be submitted by midnight on Sunday 17 December 2023.

The 24 shortlisted writers will all win a book voucher, and the category winners will get Love to Shop vouchers worth £25, £50 or £100. All shortlisted candidates (plus two guests each) will be invited to the awards ceremony in London.
