We are delighted to be celebrating foster care again this year during Foster Care Fortnight. An awareness-raising event, run by The Fostering Agency, that aims to raise the profile of fostering in our nation and celebrate the outstanding work done by foster carers up and down the country.
The theme of Foster Care Fortnight this year is 'Fostering Moments'. A theme that provides anyone who has been involved with or impacted by foster care with the opportunity to share their favourite fostering moments.

At asphaleia we will be engaging in various activities during the fortnight. These include:
A drop-in coffee for anyone who is interested in fostering to speak to our manager, Kim. These will be held on Monday 13th and Monday 20th both at 3pm-5pm.
Kim will have a stand at Haskins on Tuesday 14th of May and will be handing out leaflets and chatting to enquirers.
Staff will be walking a mile on Tuesday 21st to show support for our fostering team. We will also be wearing yellow on this day!
We will be sharing on our blog and social media channels a collection of Fostering Moments from our team.
There will be other activities for our fostering team to take part in and celebrate the incredible work they are doing.
