asphaleia continues to be Good provider following recent Ofsted inspections

We are delighted to share that following two recent inspections of our further education provision, asphaleia training, we continue to be rated as Good by Ofsted.

We're immensely proud that our work to impact young people's education has been recognised. The team of staff involved in the inspections demonstrated their passion and commitment and it is deeply rewarding to hear the positive feedback from our students and to celebrate the progress young people are making on our programs.

Ofsted inspection in Worthing & Crawley

Ofsted first visited our Worthing provision at our learning centre in early June. Along with our ESOL provision in Crawley.

In their report, inspectors highlighted how students at asphaleia benefit from a calm and positive environment where they are support by staff who know them well and are responsive to their needs.

Students enjoy their learning and rightly appreciate the careful individual support from teachers, which helps them to build relationships, grow in confidence and participate in activities.

They also highlighted how students benefit from very good advice and guidance to help them in their next steps in education and employment.

Ofsted inspection in Bognor

A fortnight after our Worthing inspection, we received notification that WSCC Adult and Community Learning were being inspected and, as we are a subcontractor delivering further education in Bognor, our provision was to be inspected as part of this.

WSCC received a Good from this inspection and we are delighted with the outcome and the feedback, which reflected a learning environment that is safe, effective and responsive.

Tutors design activities skilfully and work effectively with learners, which inspires them to contribute enthusiastically in lessons, take risks and accept challenges. Learners build their confidence quickly and achieve their goals well.
